Ariel Hyatt, Founder

Ariel Hyatt is the founder of Cyber PR, a digital public relations firm that connects clients to new media outlets including blogs, podcasts, Internet radio stations and social networking sites. Over the past 13 years she has represented over 1,435 musicians, festivals and bands.

As the daughter of a best selling author and an author herself, she is thrilled to be expanding Cyber PR into the realm of authors and books.

Her first book Music Success in Nine Weekswas released in June 2008. “Sound Advice,” her bi-weekly ezine and Internet TV series currently reaches an audience of over 10,000 music professionals. She is a contributing blogger for Music Think Tank, and Know The Music Biz.

Educating people on the wonders of Social Media is her passion and several times a year, she leads workshops and seminars that help her clients grow larger fanbases and earn more money. She travels the world teaching musicians and entrepreneurs how to combine social media and Internet marketing to make more money and connect with more fans.

Heather Smith’s position as Social Media Strategist is the optimum blend of her experiences in music, books and technology. She brings to Cyber PR more than 15-years experience in following the music industry in capacities such as a disc jockey for a Texas alternative rock station and as the producer and host of the acclaimed “Rubyfruit Radio”—a podcast showcasing independent women artists. The podcast has garnered attention in regional and national publications such as SPIN. Her work in the IT world for Georgia Tech and Emory University among others has enabled her to keep up-to-date on emerging trends and technological advances. She has applied her skills and love of music and books to Cyber PR’s clients to develop social media strategies as well as identifying new social media resources for clients.
