Bennett Kremen's varied background lends itself to the rich story that can be found in his latest novel, Savage Days and Haunted Nights. For many years he has been writing seriously and has contributed major articles to The New York Time Book Review and Financial pages and to The Nation, The Village Voice and many other publications. Along with the freelance work mentioned above, Bennett wrote a book of new journalism for The Dial Press along with short fiction, scholarly papers and poetry for various small press publications. He's also written an epic screenplay describing his experiences working on the Alaska Pipleline, during it's construction.
